The Virtual University Sialkot campuses Conducted Orientation sessions and Computer Lab Sessions for Fall 2022 Admissions in two sessions Daily, starting 26th October to 29th October, 2022 (Morning 10am to 2pm and Evening 3pm to 7pm). More than 70% prospective students attended the Orientation sessions. The Basic purpose was to make students comfortable in the use of computers and online education system, overview of the university life and Academic rules and regulations mandated for every student.
Students were given detailed introduction of VULMS with demonstrations, VU001-Introduction to e-Learning course, brief introduction of VU CPL (Computer proficiency license) and trendy communication tools (Zoom, Google Meet, Skype, Team Viewer and Adobe Connect)
Each session was of 4 to 5 hours’ duration with Multimedia presentations and lab sessions. The CEO in his address welcomed the students and congratulated them on taking the right decision of choosing virtual university which is the future trends of education ON-LINE).
New trends in education were introduced and ON-LINE Courses offered by MIT and Stanford Universities like MOOCs , edx & Coursera and upcoming technologies i.e. IOT (internet of Things), Artificial Intelligence (A.I), Hyper-realistic 3D OOH (Out-of-Home) Animation and Holoportation etc. The CEO emphasized that our youth needs to unleash their potential by learning these technologies. Students were made to realise that countries and businesses who shall not adopt new technologies shall be wiped out and in this changing world the one who is the most adaptable to change and adopt Digital Technologies shall survive.
The CEO also shared his personal experience, exciting stories and videos. Students attended these interactive sessions with great interest and enthusiasm.
